Question for you

Do you dry your jeans in the dryer?  The last pair I bought the salesperson told me not to.  I have always dried previous pairs with the rest of my clothes, but I would really like for these to last a long time since they were pricey.

I never have. But that is because I have long legs so if they go in the dryer they shrink too much for me. And it's a pain finding jeans long enough that I like. My sister buys pretty pricey jeans and they go in the dryer so I think it's personal preference?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Dry them in the dryer along with all of the other clothes.

Interesting.  I do hate how my dark wash jeans eventually fade, so maybe I will give this a try and see if it makes a difference.

Yup. Dryer. The only things we don't put in the dryer have to specifically say no dryer. Like DH's under armor. Apparently the dryer will take away the warmth from them.

I do always wash inside out.  I will report back on this strategy if I remember.  The tag does say to line dry.

Oooh, I didn't know this (nor have I read the tag).  I've dried my coldgear since I bought it 4 years ago.  Woops.

I dry mine.  I love the "first wear out of the dryer, fit to perfect tightness" feeling.

I throw em in the dryer! I have zero patience to hang dry jeans, also my jeans are usually Old Navy.

I dry them.  My jeans are all old and the most expensive I get are Gap.

I put almost none of my pants in the dryer, jeans, dress, lounge, or otherwise. I've had too many pairs of pants shrink too much for me (and I'm not tall!). That's my only reason for it. I just hate when pants are too short for my liking.

I have always put mine in the dryer.  But I don't buy crazy expensive jeans either.

I'm a huge seven fan and they always go in the dryer inside out, washed in cold water. I've had a couple pairs for a few years and think they still look pretty darn good.

I'm waiting on my first Paige jeans to come and hoping I don't have to change my ways. I'm with PandP- love that just out of the dryer feel!

I do whatever the tag tells me too, which is almost always wash/dry inside out. Plus, I hate the stiffness of them if they line dry.

Same here. I usually buy cheap ones, I get over them after a while. Seems they don't fit great after a while. Sometimes, though, I will hang them up, like the darker ones or if they seem like they MAY shrink... Or I get lazy sometimes, and just forget... I'm pretty bad with things sometimes

This reminds me that I really need to go shopping for some new jeans. It's been like 4 years since I last purchased a pair of regular jeans (not counting the white skinnies and turquoise skinnies I bought this past year; they're not denim-colored).

I do most of the time. I tried letting them drip dry for awhile to prevent shrinking and fading, but then I got lazy and started drying them again. And they shrunk and faded. *sigh*

I am "thrifty" (cheap) and hate to spend money on clothes. I have cheap jeans (old navy) and I line dry (hand in the bathroom) so they will last longer. I do it with most of my clothes actually.

I always dry my jeans but they're mostly Old Navy too. They stretch out and I like to dry them to tighten them back up.

I always put them in the dryer. That said, I wash and dry them inside out. They get washed in cold and dried on low heat.

Never even thought not to. Always in the dryer, and never inside out unless I was drunk and they came off that way =P~

I think everyone already answered you, but I too do the drier because i hate how stiff they are if they hang dry. Sometimes I'll hang dry then tumble on no heat to soften them up with a new pair, but that's once or twice before I forget and got back to my lazy ways
