This is ridiculous!
So our school district is on a 2 hour delay because police are hunting a suicidal possibly armed man in the area. The police are headquartered at a middle school that is literally right next to dd's after school building and all surrounding roads are closed.
Assuming that school will close if they don't catch him soon.
How is this reality nowaday?! Thank god this happened before the school day because if this was going on while my kid was at her after school place I would lose my mind!

They caught him before the 2 hour delay was up so they didnt need to cancel completely. But dd has AM K so that was cancelled. I dropped her off at after school and all the news trucks were there and at the middle school.
So crazy! Never expected to have a 2 hour gunman delay this morning!! So thankful that I didn't have to worry about this while she was actually at school!
