DH and I are going to Nashville for our 5th anniversary! I am really excited and have heard great things about the city. I am looking to you for some suggestions on restaurants and attractions. This will be the first trip that we go on sans LO - and it is MUCH needed

TIA!
Re: Nashville
We have stayed downtown at the Doubletree and the Sheraton, which are walking distance to Broadway, and the Loews @ Vandy, which is a short cab ride away.
You HAVE to visit the Ryman, which is right behind Tootsies and Legends on Broadway, you can do a backstage tour. Also, the Country Music Hall of Fame is close too. Driving distance to the Grand Ol Opry and also Opryland hotel, which is really cool.
check and see if anything is going on at Bridgestone Arena, which is right downtwon as well. Start at Legends, and make your way down to the river. Lots of places will have live music (our fave is Tootsies).
As far as restaurants, we have not found anything too exciting- we do like Pucketts and Noshville. I liked Demos, but my DH did not.
Restaurants:
Monells In Nashville (Germantown) on 6th ave - family style. Reservations are needed for Sunday brunch http://monellstn.com/?page_id=4
Loveless Cafe - fried chicken and biscuits are their specialty (outside of town near Natchez Trace)
