Re: Weekly Accountability Post

  • 1. How MM was your week?

Yea, I can only think about the weekends...  We did ok.

    Friday - $8 Taco bell for H

Saturday night - Famous Dave's for dinner, target run - groceries/house stuff - $230 total.

Sunday - I went to lunch with friends - $12

    2. Any progress toward your goals?

Sent payment to pay off last CC!!!  YAY!  That should roll over into my last SL (should be paid off May/June).

    3. What pet(s) do you have or want? Pictures welcome!

We have a 3 yr old puggle named Hunter.  Stepdaughter like to dress him up as a pretty pretty princess... He's a good sport.

  • I don't think I will ever try hot yoga.  I get so much out of the classes I go to anyways.  I just tried the arm balance class last week.  talk about sweating!  98 degrees is way too hot IMO.  I've never been one for all those crazy intense workouts like insanity or p90x....you get the same results if you go at a normal workout pace and eat right.

  • one of our yoga instructors wants to learn the violin again, so we are going to start doing trade out next month - yoga classes for violin lessons.  then I won't have to pay anything to go there.

  • 1. We had a wedding this weekend but we had budgeted for the gift. Monday my mom had a major heart attack so we've been eating out a lot more than normal since the hospital she's in is across the city from our home. So the eating out and extra driving is starting to eat into our budget.

    2. We're actually sticking to our budget which is great. I'm trying to figure out how to move money around for monthly savings of yearly spending and for some reason I'm struggling. I feel like the money isn't going where it needs to be so I think I'll sit down and try to re-vamp my system this weekend.

    3. We have a 10 month old husky/shepard cross that we adopted from a shelter. His name is Henry. We were told that he would be around 55lbs but he's 90 and still growing. When he thinks we're leaving him he'll stand between your legs so it looks like you're riding him like a horse.Another inch or two and I'm not going to be able to keep my feet on the the ground.
  • New to this area, but I'll play

    1. How MM was your week?

Separated finances, and found out the cost for divorce.  Doing taxes to pay for this.

    2. Any progress toward your goals?
Not really, just starting on them.

    3. What pet(s) do you have or want? Pictures welcome!
I have a cat but she lives with my dad.
  • 1. How MM was your week?  Not too bad last week until I went grocery shopping with a debit card in my wallet.  Went $65 over budget including getting more batteries and some once a quarter items.  That is why I use cash only at stores when possible.

    2. Last week, not really.  Will evaluate our tax with holdings after we pay our taxes.  I work in a different city than where I live so I usually owe roughly $300 extra a year to local.

    3. No pets, I had fish for a few years but got rid of them when my son was born.  I do have one plant left alive if that counts.
