Today starts my new semester! Wooho!! I have the same # of credits as I did last semester, but with one more class. Silly 1 credit courses.
Today is my longest day. I have class 10-11, then 12-1, and A&P lab 2-5! Then I have to work 6-11p so it will be a long day for sure! But I don't have Tues/Thurs classes this semester, which will be really nice.
How was everyone's weekend?
We went to our friends for game night Friday, that was really fun! Saturday we went shopping a bit and out to dinner. We had to get new glasses, since we broke most of our big ones. Oops! But I like the ones we got more than our old ones anyhow.
I finally got all our Christmas stuff put away. Our tree is stuck in the tree stand, so we're not really sure how we're going to get it out. Or what we're going to do with it once it's out. Not sure our garbage man will take it or not.
Re: Back to school, back to school
WOW JLQ that is a long a$$ day! Good luck with the new semster. We didn't do too much this weekend. We went over to BIL/SIL house on Friday evening. It was good to see them. It had been awhile. SIL and me made a scrapbooking date for this weekend which is good because I would like to get 2013 done. Sat. we took my grandma out for her 80th birthday. She loved every minute of it and loved her Pandora bracelet. It was good night! Sunday we hung around the house and did some chores and this and that. Watched a lot of football. My house is still decorated. I plan to work on that this week and take the tree down over the weekend. Not too much going on today. Work, lunch with H, home, and probably grocey shopping.
JLQ: Do they have tree drops in the town you live in? Our town take the christmas at the highway department and turns them into wood chips.
We had lots of visitors this weekend. My mom left yesterday but my sister is here for a bit now. It's like a step down from the help my mom gave but I'm not yet alone.
I start back with the daycare next week which will be an adjustment but hopefully not terrible.
My mom took all our Christmas stuff down for us when she was down. That was awesome to have done. I had debated doing it between Christmas and New Years because I doubted id be wanting to if I was still pregnant after New Years or if I had a new born but I never did.
My house is weirdly quiet. Ds 1 is just down for nap - he's talking but he's contained in his crib and should fall asleep soon. My sister went for a nap and the dog is napping. Ds2 has been napping since 1130 in his swing. Life is good right now. If only I could have a beer....
Since having ds2 I've had a lot of sips/little glasses of wine and 1 beer but I can't handle alcohol very well at all. Like 2 sips and it's all gone to my head.
Degrea - sounds like you had a very nice weekend
Echo - enjoy your last week without all the extra kiddos. It sounds quite peaceful in your house at the moment but I'm sure that won't last long. And I love how the dog is napping as well
We had a very quiet weekend. We were supposed to clean the basement yesterday to prepare for the treadmill delivery next week. But about 20 minutes in we realized that the treadmill won't fit in the freakin' basement. It has a drop ceiling and DH would hit his head if he even tried to use it. Thankfully we realized this before it was delivered and could return it without issue but still. I was all pumped for the treadmill but alas, it was not meant to be.
Work today has been ugh. It took me over 2 hours to get into work today. TWO. HOURS. It was awful and not even due to the weather! There was some kind of accident but it had all cleared by the time I got around to it. But on the plus side, I listened to a lot of my audiobook? I'm trying to find the silver lining but it's pretty tough.
Enjoy the rest of your day ladies!
