Work outs anyone?

I went to the gym last night!!!  I hope to go tonight too.  20 mins elliptical, and 20 minutes treadmill inclines.  I'll probably stick to light cardio for a bit.

No, seriously, Im getting all my ducks in a row these next few days, then heading back on Wednesday or Thursday. I think I might stick to the classes they offer on the nights I dont feel like doing an actual routine workout.

I bought some dance classes from Groupon recently. Does that count?

I went to toning/zumba on Saturday and RIPPED last night.

I need to get back into my gym workouts during the week. and of course Yoga on friday nights.

I go to Snap Fitness. Its 24 hours and small so there really arent any muscle heads in there. There is one in Middletown too. Right by North Star Grille which is convinient, if we moved to Middletown, but hopefully we will have a basement and DH wants to get a home gym. Its $35 a person per month or $65 for both of us.

Every year the Snap fitness outside of my house is filled with people the entire month of January. As the weeks go on, you can see the parking lot less and less full. I chuckle every time I drive by.

This is why I like to avoid the gym this month, but my cousin REALLY wants me to come with her.  We did get 2 elliptical together to talk, then we split up,

I drove by mine last night and it was packed. Thankfully when I go at 4pm there is no one there.

@Mrs.Skiz - I was thinking about joining that Snap. The dance classes I bought are held there. I need to do something and stick to it. Long gone are the days of eating cheese fries and burgers all the time while remaining 100 pounds...

Girllll I know it! Well if you join there, we can always meet up for classes or weekend workouts since you can go to any SNAP Fitness with your membership. They always have a monthy class schedule availble to take with you. I always take them but never attend class.

@mrs.skiz and @amcourt09 Ummm maybe if you guys go to some classes my fat butt will join you. Since you know, I can walk to that gym from my house if I wanted to. Even though I would probably be lazy and drive there.

But I think I'm going to join the regular gym too. Shawn's on a crazy fitness kick and he's dropping pounds like crazy. He just joined a kickboxing gym last night because he's a crazy person and wants to be the size that he was when we met (IN HIGH SCHOOL). So you know I can't be at my fattest when he's at his best.

@amcourt09 So is Greg. He's back to drinking protein shakes all day at work. He did that crap too when I was pregnant with M, so in all of our pictures he's all skinny and I was a blimp.

@amcourt09 so I wonder if those classes are availble for current Snap members or if you have to purchase the classes like you did. Because I would totally join you for those.

@philaphan you and Greg could probobly get one membership since most times you wont be going together because of the kids. They give you a security tag that you swipe at the door. No one ever checks anything. Its sneaky, but will save you $40 at sign up and $30 a month.

@mrs.skiz I don't know if I would join the regular gym, maybe just the classes. We have a treadmill, bike, and a bunch of other crap that Greg uses in the basement. We went down a few times together last week because I'll stay down there much longer when he's there telling me what kind of sets to do. The kids just hang out down there and play. We need to get in to a routine of actually making it down there every day.

@Mrs.Skiz - You can join those classes at Snap. They have a discounted rate for Snap members I think.
