NBR: FireFly Festival, Anyone going this year?

So the lineup for FireFly Festival (a big music festival here in Dover, DE) was released. It looks awesome. Anyone going this year? DH wants to go this year. I'm divided. While I would love to see several of the artists in the lineup (FooFighters!!! The Lumineers! Imagine Dragons!!), we have been trying to save money and tickets are not cheap. I wish we could just buy 1 day passes, but you have to buy tickets for the whole 4 days.

    I thought you could buy 1 day passes?  I know the past 2 years 1-day passes have been an option, I think they go on sale a bit later than the 4-day passes.

    I looked on the Firefly website and they said no day passes this year. Last year they went on sale a bit later like you mentioned, but they said that the day passers caused such an influx to see the headliners that it was a problem.

    It's funny...
    I'm going to a completely different Firefly this summer.  I had to do a double take before I realized.  Duh, I seriously doubt other people on here would be going to a primitive skills gathering.

    I should have realized because every year I go people ask what musicians will be there!!

    It's a camping gathering where the participants take classes during the day on things like fire making, building shelters, finding and purifying water, blacksmithing, making paper, making flutes out of rivercane...and way way more than that.  It's pretty cool.  It has quite the hippy-ish vibe.

    Sounds cool. I would probably suck at doing most of those things, but it sounds fun.

    No, I've always been hesitant to spend that much money on it.  I would be interested in a single day pass possibly but in the past all the bands I wanted to see were spread out across the three days so it didn't make sense to by any one day.

    Same here. Sometimes I feel like I am little old to be trotting off to music festivals. Other times, I feel like "Eff them, I've liked Dave Grohl since before there was a Foofighters and probably since some of them were born!". Lol
