Appointment AW :)
We just got back from our first monthly appointment with the midwife, and it went so great! I love the midwife we saw (there are two at the birth center), and I'm really looking forward to having an appointment with the other one next time.
I was most nervous about/looking forward to hearing the heartbeat (I've mentioned it a few... Hundred times here
). We heard it at about 150-160bpm on the Doppler and it was music to my ears! H was pretty happy too, but he had no worries beforehand 
I cried on the way home, I feel like I'm finally opening to the fact that our baby is healthy and growing and I'm able to get attached to this amazing little miracle. It felt like my heart was bursting. I can't describe how relieved I am to finally be "out" of the danger zone and get to (more like let myself) enjoy this pregnancy. This is crazy awesome! And a total extra bonus is that I've felt more energetic this afternoon than I have since 6 weeks. Bring on 2nd tri!

Also, I feel you on getting to the point you can relax a little and enjoy things. I relax a little more each week, but I'm still very nervous. I'm so glad you're feeling good at this point, physically AND emotionally!
