Help! Too many squats/lunges

If anyone is on tonight (Thursday), I need advice. I took a class today called minisculpt. The instructor did a class yesterday which killed her arms so she spent almost the whole class today doing squats, lunges and the like because her arms were really sore. I am used to doing leg exercises but this was an insane amount of them. My legs are like Jell-O which means I won't be able to move tomorrow. I plan to do tons of stretching tonight, but is there anything else I can do tonight or tomorrow to help ease the pain? I'm really not looking forward to this. TIA.

Re: Help! Too many squats/lunges

  • I would recommend an Epsom salt bath and possibly a massage. Good luck!
  • I am in so much pain. I counted the exercises we did and it was close to 300 between lunges and squats. I tried stretching a ton on Thursday night and kept waking up during the night because my muscles were tight. It is worse today than it was yesterday. I've been drinking water, sleeping and stretching some. I think the best thing is to give it time. And NEVER take that class again! :-)

(And I couldn't do the epson salt bath because our bathtub doesn't hold water. But thank you for the suggestion.)
