WBC Nordic Mystery: Silence of the Grave (NS)
For this challenge I read Silence of the Grave by Arnaldur Indridason. Indridason is an Icelandic author and his stories take place in Iceland. The story revolves around a body being found buried in a new housing development. The book is part of a series revolving around Reykjavík detective Erlendur, his family and the crimes he is trying to solve. I really enjoyed this book, its gloomy brooding and atmospheric. Its the perfect book to read in the dead of winter by a roaring fire with a hot cup of tea. I think I enjoyed this book more since I've actually been to Iceland and have been to some of the places mentioned in the book. I gave it 4 stars on Goodreads.
