Favorite Love Songs

DH and I are approaching our 1 year anniversary and I am putting together a slideshow of still pictures and video clips to music in the background (starting with the wedding and going from there).

Our first dance song was "Make You Feel My Love" (original Bob Dylan but we used the Adele cover) so I would like to start with that. For the second song I'm looking for something a little more sweet/lighthearted/fun. Right now I'm thinking of using either "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson or "Lucky" by Jason Mraz.

Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions?

Re: Favorite Love Songs

  • I'm terrible at choosing good love songs. I agonized over it for our wedding. I just wanted to contribute that I chose the Ingrid Michaelson song for our first dance and I love it!

    I love this song!

  • my husband always sings the L-O-V-E song to me, you know the L is for the way you look at me one haha

  • Grow Old With You by Adam Sandler from the Wedding Singer is my favorite fun, funny love song.
  • We both love Grow Old With You as well!

I think I'm going to use Everything by Michael Buble, followed by Everybody by Ingrid Michaelson. They flow pretty well together.

Thanks for all of the input.

I love "I thought I loved you then" by Brad Paisley.  I hate most of this stuff because a lot of it is so sexist but I really like that one.

ETA:  Sorry, I just realized you said you already decided.
