Okay, so I know we're looking at almost a month away, but I want to surprise my husband & plan our Valentines night! He's always the one to plan/pay for dates and specific holidays/anniversaries, & not to say that I *never* do, but definitely not as often! Valentines Day lands on a Friday. So we have the entire night & potentially the weekend, (if we were to go somewhere). I've been thinking of some different ideas, ie: cook dinner, go out somewhere after. Cook dinner, and plan out the night at home. Go out for dinner, & plan the evening out. I don't know! I love to cook, so I was leaning more so towards that, BUT, I don't want to cheap out on planning the night either. I'm not concerned of the cost, I just want to plan the night where he doesn't have to do anything. Any ideas?? I'd love to hear of any suggestions! Something unique & different would be at the top of my list!

Thanks!

Re: *Valentines Day!*
To make it a more fun night in, you could try...
1. Cooking a favorite meal of his - you can't go wrong with comfort food!
2. Cooking something that neither of you have had before - it's a fun adventure, especially if you're foodies, and there's no pressure on you to not screw up Great Aunt Edna's famous meat and potato surprise.
3. Ordering a nice meal and having it delivered, so neither of you will have to cook (but plan this in advance because a lot of other couples may be doing this too).
4. Having fondue - it covers both dinner and dessert, it's casual, and it's romantic to share.
Maybe after dinner you could have a couple of movies ready to watch at home, or have a game night. Wear something sexy for an extra treat for him, regardless of the dinner and entertainment plan you decide.
Have fun!
