I am still reading Horns by Joe Hill.  I hope to have time this weekend to relax and read.  This is #5 for the year.
DAMMIT, I wanted to read this with you!  I am still being gang-pressed into blasting through my Outlander re-read though.  Let me know what you think!

  • I am a little over halfway through my Dragonfly in Amber re-read, and it is ripping my heart right out.  This one has remained tied for my favorite in the series and I don't see that changing :)

While it's not my favorite, I feel like I'm loving it more than ever with this re-read.

It's cool and very windy here, but not bad compared to the rest of the country and considering that it is January!

  • I'm reading the Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley and just started listening to The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. WS is still on the boring side, but I feel like something will start happening soon (I hope!). I'm digging the mixture of old world folk tales and the immigrant stories in The Golem and the Jinni.

The weather has been really nice here this week. High 60s/low 70s and I'm loving it.

  • I just finished Countdown by Deborah Wiles (children's historical fiction set in the Cuban Missile Crisis.)

It was #4. Not sure what I am going to start next.

  • I just finished The Scorpio Races last night for my buddy read. I gave it 3 stars, maybe 3.5.

I am reading My Name is Rapunzel. Its okay so far. I should finish later today.

I've been neglecting Beaty Queens, I don't know if I will be able to finish it. I am not a fan so far.

I need to pick up something else today. I am thinking of The Shining Girls

I'm going to start Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham on audio at work today.  I'm excited for it.

I have about 90 pages of Scorpio Races left which I will hopefully finish tonight.

They are numbers 13 & 14 for the year.

It's cold here and I wish this snow would melt already, but other than that it's at least sunny.
@beebe918 I just read yesterday that the CW might be making this into a tv show!

  • I finished reading Key of Light by NR last night so I'll start Key of Knowledge tonight.  The premise is just okay but the characters are really likable.

I'm listening to Pretty in Plaid by Jen Lancaster.  I am loving it and it makes my time in the car fly by!

They are # 10 & 11 for the year and Key of Knowledge is for WBC.

Still working my way through In the Devil's Snare: The Salem Witchcraft Crisis of 1692, by Mary Beth Norton.  It's good, just very detail dense and the print is microscopic.

It's stupid cold here.  Actually, it's not so bad by my book, but our heat pump can't keep up so it's ridiculously cold inside our house, which is really craptastic.  I don't mind the cold weather as long as I can come into a warm location.

  • I am reading Still Alice for my buddy read and The Shadowy Horses. It is supposed to snow tomorrow and then the vortex weather returns.

  • I'm reading The Winter Sea.  I just finished the Coincidence of Callie and Kayden last night.  I think I'm up to number 5 or 6?

Weatherwise, we're definitely in the vortex.  Holy shitballs it's cold.

  • I finished The Name of the Wind (#2)last night and started Beautiful Darkness today.
I'm listening to Shatter Me and I cannot stand the narrator. She sounds like she is 7 and the voice she uses for the guys is really annoying.
