Weekend Reading

Re: Weekend Reading

  • I finally got some momentum going in The Winter Sea. I stayed up late last night reading and got a little over halfway through. I'm finally enjoying the story now after a rocky beginning.

I also started something called Indexing by Seanan McGuire (who wrote Feed and the other Newsflesh books as Mira Grant). It was a serial set of stories but now that they're finished I got them in a collection. I love the premise- that fairy tales get played out over and over again in real life and cause some serious damage to the real world and there is a task force to stop them before they get out of control. The characters haven't drawn me in as much yet, but it's still early.

read some of "A Walk Across the Sun" and "The Edge of Never". The Edge of Never is my BR but its so slow! @packfan20, I hope to catch up since you finished it. Does it get better?

@ash61612 I had to force myself to pick it up.

  • About 2/3rds of the way through "Saving Grace" by Norah Wilson. It's mediocre, which is a disappointment since I really liked her other book, Every Breath She takes about the psychic.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.
