qod 1-27

This is a selfish one...Best tips for an interview?! I haven't been on one in 8 years!

Re: qod 1-27

  • I haven't interviewed in years... I have been here for 9 and it was my first real job. I do know from sitting in on interviews that it is best to be yourself. Interviewers can see through fake in no time.

  • My suggestion is to dress professionally. You'd be amazed at what people wear to a job interview. Also, as much as you can, try to relax and be personable. I think that as much as your interviewers are making sure that you're qualified for the position, they're also gauging what you'll be like to work with. Good luck!!

  • I agree with both ladies. Dress is important as well as being yourself. Also I would add be honest because lots of people go in and give these high thoughts on how they work so they look good. Then once they get hired it's not accurate. If you can't do something tell them and then add you are willing to learn. I think it shows honesty yet you have a desire and want for the job.
