Bought the rest of our laminate flooring so that cost us about $1500. Still need to buy the underlayment and some other supplies which we will do next weekend. Other than that, didn't spend anything. This was budgetted, so even though it was a good chunk of money, we have been saving for new floors for a while.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I got a 2nd job and today is my first day! I'm hoping the money from this job will be a little bit of a cushion for us next fall when I start school.
2) Taking a look at our medical bills last year we spent about $4k, with us trying to get pregnant with our second we are planning to spend about this much again this year.
3) I really like the spring as the trees and flowers start to bloom.
2. Progress towards goals? This week we wrote a check to fund our Roth for 2014.
3. What's your favorite season and why? Fall. (As long as it's not raining.) We have a great cider mill within walking distance of our place. Plus I love wearing sweaters and boots, and being outside.
How MM was your weekend?
Pretty good, 1 tank of gas for $40, and $20 at Ann Taylor along with a gift cert and coupon for Xmas. With H back in school and studying all the time, we don't go out together often so it is savings us $. Total- $60
Any progress towards goals?
Eh the same, we keep stashing money away towards the house DP, e-fund, mortgage, and a vacation to Florida that I booked with my family in April. Can't wait!
What is your favorite season and why?
I live in New England as well and love the spring time. My favorite month is May. It's the perfect temp (70's). It nice during the day, and a little cooler at night. I don't like the cold or extreme hot. I really need to move.

1. How MM was your weekend?
Pretty good! H now works Saturdays for tax season so it seems like it will stop us from spending as much on the weekends. We only spent a little money picking up some wine for a party we were invited to on Sunday.
Summer...hands down. New England winters are so depressing...especially this year's. I do love fall as well though...but I look forward to summer much more.
