So Logan has been in daycare for 4 weeks now and there have been several little issues that concern me and one bigger issue yesterday. I'm trying to decide if we should give it time or pull him. The problem is his daycare is perfectly located for our schedules and work commute. Obviously that is not the most important part, but moving him would make it very difficult for us to drop off and pick up and still work our schedules....unless we switch to a place that's 3000 more a year than I pay now.
So two weeks ago there were a few times where he was wearing a "house bib" which I never knew existed and have asked them to stop and just use the ones that I always make sure he has in his cubby. NBD until I saw another kid wearing Logan's bib. I asked the Mom about it and she gave me a huge attitude and talked about me to the teacher about how I ruined her day and it's not even a cute bib. Ok whatever. Then there are days they don't record all of his diaper changes or naps or how many ounces he drank....again normally not a big deal, except when he was sick I needed to make sure he was eating enough. And his bowels movements have decreased so I need to know what was in that diaper you forgot to record...it may have been his only BM for the day. Friday there was someone else's bottle with Logan's bottle cap on it in his cubby and his was in another kid's cubby..how do I know if they just got mixed up when being washed or if he ate the wrong bottle? I've let all of this go . I know they are busy and it's hard to keep perfect track of stuff with 8 infants....until yesterday. J picked him up and there were 4 bottles recorded 930, 1215, 300, and 515. Except 5 of my bottles were empty. He asked the girl why and of course she had come to the room at like 4 and couldn't answer (which also happens on a regular basis). So he asked this am and the girl is like I think he was fussy around 11, maybe he got an extra bottle then? But of course we'll never know. I doubt he had a bottle then if he finished his whole bottle before and after. Soooo, what would you do if you were me? Would you give I time and see if things change or pull him? Sorry this is long and I apologize for typos I'm on my phone.

Re: WWYD
I have not been in this position before but my initial reaction is follow your gut. it seems like they're beeing way to 'whatever' about a lot of things and thats not good.

I realize I don't really have a frame of reference, but this seems all kinds of shady to me.
This! A thousand times this! T was only at his original daycare for about 2 months before I pulled him out because of reasons similar to what you said. I would not be okay with the bottle thing because so many kids are on breast milk at that age and, this might just be me, but I wouldn't even want to take a chance that T could possibly drink someone else's milk (not that he drank mine because I didn't nurse but you know what I mean). And the recording thing is huge. It might seem sort of silly but it's really important to know those things because L can't tell you so you're depending on them to. What is the other school? Bright Horizons? They are really expensive but for good reason. They are amazing schools. My mom worked there for 15 years and I know some of the teachers that are there now. They're all so good. When it comes down to it, if something is making you uncomfortable, trust your instincts, even if you may not be able to explain them...
