Hey ladies! Hope everyone is doing well.
On Friday night around 11 my water broke. By 12 i was in my hospital room- 1 cm dilated and mild contractions. They were coming on very quickly and extremely painful, and it turns out I was dilating 2 cm an hour. By the time i was around 6 cm, i had to have my epi. The majority of the pain went away, but the pressure in my butt was intense and i felt like pushing very shortly after. So, by 5:25am i started practice pushes and then started pushing for real- she was born at 5:35. She was so quick to come out! (: I was surprised that i didn't have any tearing and didn't need stitches considering how tiny I am. But baby girl was the perfect size- 6lbs 9oz of cuteness! Dh and I are so in love. I'm doing well even though I'm a little sore and very tired (4hrs of sleep in almost 3 days). BFing has been challenging a few times, but we're getting the hang of it. Baby K is very healthy and we'll be going home monday morning. I can't pip at the moment but I'll try to when i can.
