weekly workout post

Ok, I'm desperately trying to get back into the workout groove.  For the past 2 weeks, I've done some random on-demand workouts mixed with a pilates DVD I have, but I was getting frustrated with the random ones because sometimes I'd hate them.  I broke down and ordered Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred.  I'm still in the "omg, I might die tomorrow" phase of the program.  Hopefully it will get better soon (???)

  • I have been ok but not great. I made it to my 3 Zumba classes and did 1 day of elliptical. I need something more/better for my non-Zumba days. I really need to get back to running but I just can't drag myself outside. Hopefully soon!

    So my gym finally finished converting over to the new owners. Some people stayed with the old gym and are going to different locations and some stayed with our location and converted to the new owner. That is what I did since I need the same location. As of Feb 1st all the people sticking with the old owners are out of our location (had been allowed to use it until then). Which means my Zumba classes will have far less people! Tonight's class sounded like there would only be 4 of us!!! I'm glad I am more confident in my Zumba skills to be in such an intimate class! Nowhere to hide!!

    I'm hoping they don't cancel any of my classes because of low interest!!

  • Emmy I thought the 30DS was hard at first but I definitely got used to it. I was really sore starting out but it got better

  • Yes, I know the feeling! I used to be so fit but let it go. I just restarted the 30 DS too. I swear at Jillian a lot and often I want to punch the black girl who is the "advanced" one. I am going to keep plugging though and hope it gets better!
  • I've been doing my once a week zumba class but that's about it.  I need to get back into my core workout. Also, I caught a peek at my naked butt in the mirror the other day, I noticed it's falling down my legs :-S .  I pinned a butt workout on pinterest...but that's as far as I got.  I need to get this nasty cold gone so I can get down to business. 
     
  • I worked my butt off this week and tracked my WW points and gained a bunch of weight. I'm having a pity party for myself today, but plan to get back on the horse tomorrow. Oh to be a supermodel with amazing genetics.
