  • I'm a big big Michael Connelly fan, so if you've never read anything by him, I hope you get to the Lincoln Lawyer on this one. Post & let us know how you like it! I really would like to discuss Connelly around here. :)
  • I haven't read any of these...so I voted for one of the ones I want to read ;)

@leeba25 Question for you since you like Connelly, I have Gods of Guilt on audio but I've never read any other Mickey Haller novels.  Have you read this one? Does it stand alone?
    my read shelf:
B's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • @beebe918 ... you can definitely read that without the other ones. But - and this is true of the Bosch books as well - you will learn some things in this that might be spoilery if you go back later and read the earlier ones (deaths, relationship status, that kind of thing). Plus, you may not *get* all the relationships, etc, as well as if you had read them in order. The relationships are cumulative from each book on, but each book is about its own court case (Haller) or criminal case (Bosch).

Does that make sense? I think Gods of Guilt was my favorite Haller ... maybe that's just b/c I read it most recently, haha. :) I haven't listened to any of them, but maybe I will do that soon.
