Re: TTC Check In!
How many months/cycles have you been TTC? 9/2 (1st one AL)
TTC#1 July 2010 PCOS dx April 2011 DS born: February 21, 2012
TTC#2 June 2013 MMC Sept 2013 (partial molar), CP 02/2014 DS2 born: December 5, 2014
14/9
Where are you in your cycle?
CD1 :-(
Any plans for testing?
Nope. Well, I will be talking to my OBGYN about getting a script for CD3 testing when I see her on the 18th, and what our next steps are going to be.
Have you done anything different or plan to?
I am starting B6 this cycle.
Anything good or bad in life or TTC?
Bad- today is CD1, I was supposed to have my yearly pap and reevaluation with my OBGYN today.
- I found out that Missouri isn't midwife friendly, unless you have a home birth. So I need to make sure whoever I choose as my obgyn will be on board with what I would like.
Good- I'm looking forward to getting the next steps figured out. Depending on the testing and what not, I may be getting a new obgyn, who is wayyy closer. I think I will like the new obgyn, but I trust my current one and want her opinion before I leave her. (And maybe a referral) the new obgyn has infertility experience which makes me happy.
Thoughts, questions, concerns?
Any ideas on what questions I should ask my obgyn when I see her?
QOTD: Have you seen any movies lately or read any books that you highly recommend?
I'm sure we have seen a movie or two, but I'm drawing a blank.
Let's do a FFC or vent: Anything you care to share?
FFC- I am totally using CD1 to laze around the house and getting R to take me for Chinese tonight. :-)
Vent- my temp dropped yesterday, with no AF. This morning it was up, but when I went to the bathroom she was here in full force. With HORRENDOUS cramps. I woke up at 3:30, and could not get comfortable until 8, when I was already too awake to go back to sleep. Boo! It was my one day to sleep in this week. :-/

It's odd, as much as we want children, I'm not in as much of a rush anymore. I feel like it's one of the only things that is keeping me sane. Does that make any sense?

What is the advertisement on the screen saver?
A pampers ad- "wrap your newborn on comfort and protection so all she feels is love." With a pic of a mom holding an itty bitty baby.
F*** You pampers and kindle!!

@sewilson33 -- I am SOOO hopeful for you this cycle!! aaackkk!!!
@lindsayandjamie -- FX that another surge comes around!
@blueeyedblossom - wouldn't CD3 be Sat if today is CD1? You could still do it if there is a Sat lab...
@sewilson33 - I do have a chart but I haven't had any luck putting it in my sig. Tips please! I'll try to link it later when I'm home.

Have you done anything different or plan to? Plan on trying OPKs to hopefully end up with better timing this month in case FF messes with me again
Anything good or bad in life or TTC?
Good: Its my 30th birthday today so I get dinner out tonight and might try to convince DH that we need to buy candles and a normal sized cake on the way home haha
Bad: I'm 30? Just kidding...probably the wind chills this week, poor Vegas (horse) had frosted nostrils/muzzle and eye lashes this morning. Z (the dog, short for Zeke) loves the snow and cold. It takes forever to convince him to come in the house.
Thoughts, questions, concerns?
QOTD: Have you seen any movies lately or read any books that you highly recommend?
Haven't seen anything in the theater in a long time. We rented some movies last weekend and Man of Steel wasn't bad.
As for books, I can't think of any at the moment. I usually download anything free on my Nook so sometimes I get something good, other times they're not so great.
Let's do a FFC or vent: Anything you care to share?
1) Even though I'm excited to go on vacation, I know I'm going to have mild anxiety during the whole trip because someone else is watching Z and Vegas. Its one of DH's friends and he's watched Z before but I will still worry.
2) I've been enjoying having DH drive us into town this week and a half. I've been using the excuse of weather since he has a truck (doesn't hurt that the landlords plowed my car in); however, I grew up and lived in Minnesota most my life and am perfectly able to drive in it. It had just been nice to relax after morning chores for once.
my read shelf:
@lindsayandjamie -- to get your code for a ticker, from your chart homepage, click on "Sharing" on the bar across the top, it's towards the right of the screen. Then under the "Charting Home Page" header, click on graphical tickers, and that'll take you to where you can customize a ticker! Click through and use the HTML code (I'm pretty sure....it's been a while. I really should update my siggy. Meh.) and then copy that into your signature for here, and voila!
Also... it took me a couple tries to get mine right-- as in, ticker in siggy, ticker linked to chart, etc. SO if the above only gives you your ticker and no link, all you have to do is from the nest siggy page, highlight the code you entered for the ticker and click the create hyperlink button and enter the homepage address to your chart. To get this, it's pretty much the same, Sharing/Charting Home Page/ but this time, click GET CODE instead of graphical tickers. Your chart's web address should be the very first address listed on this page.
It also helps a great deal to have a couple tabs open, lol. Changing my sig is always a 3 tab affair. I hope this helps!
