Ladies who have used injects

My Bravelle got moved from 150 to 75 tonight. Is this a good thing? I didn't have a chance to ask the nurse when she called because I was driving and my next monitoring is tomorrow. Just wondering what other ladies have experienced. Thanks!

Re: Ladies who have used injects

  • It's all a balancing act.  They're trying to get growth in line with hormone levels.  So adjusting isn't necessarily a good or bad thing either way.  Bravelle mimics FSH which stimulates the egg(s) to mature.  If their lowering it, they likely are just trying to slow down or coast a bit to give the egg(s) a little longer to mature.  It's entirely likely they could raise it again, lower further, or leave it the same.  Nothing to worry about!

  • It's all good as long as it's helping you get to where you need to be :) I had a few days where I was at a higher dose, then low dose, then high dose, then low dose, back and forth. There is no good or bad when it comes to the amount, as long as you're in the good hands of a doc and they're monitoring/doing what needs to be done, which I'm sure you are :) Good luck!
