How to decorate between christmas and spring?

So I want to change things around a bit, but here in Colorado, it really doesn't turn into spring until April. What are some suggestions as to how to decorate (relatively minimally and inexpensively - I'm not looking for huge changes) between now and spring?

Re: How to decorate between christmas and spring?

  • My house always feels so bare after I take down the Christmas decor, but it still feels weird putting out legit Spring decor too.

My favorite in between season decor has been candles that are complete opposite of the Christmas scented ones, putting those moss balls into hurricane glass jars, add a great indoor plant like a succulent or snake plant, and changing up the throw pillows.

Winter decor that isn't Fall or Christmas is tricky for me too!
  • I tend to do things like candles, and 'cozy' feeling things (pull a couple throw blankets out of closets, etc)
  • I think some tall ivory pillar candles inside tall glass vases/holders are pretty, and layering some red cranberries around the bottom.
I also like the look of evergreen branches/pine boughs tucked onto a fireplace mantle or shelf or dining room table, with some pinecones.
