LO woke up 2 1/2 hours earlier than usual this morning.

Our dog managed to find some cat food and now he has a hot spot. Poor guy is itchy

It is nasty and stormy out today. I was going to run some errands but now I might wait until later in the week.

My dog woke me up at 5:15 because she needed to go out. It's not like her and she went out before bed. That translated into me running late for work because I fell asleep but had to be up in a little over an hour and I snoozed my alarm for too long.

On top of that I'm ridiculously nauseous today and I don't like it. Monday can be over now.. >:P

On Saturday H told me I I took Lucy out shopping he'd get some stuff done around the house. We were gone for 5.5 hours and I came home to see that he didn't complete one fucking task. He started more than a few things, but didn't actually finish anything. Then he went to a friend's place. I was irritated.

He was apologizing and telling me not to be mad and that he'd finish everything. So yesterday he decided he wanted to get our bedroom/bathroom clean. He did a great job but he spent all fucking day doing it. Maybe if he'd watch less lifetime movie network and clean a little faster we could actually get this place in shape.

MIL told H on Tuesday that she wanted to take him out for his birthday dinner on Friday.  She told him to pick the place and make a reservation.
The waitress asked how we wanted the bill split, and offered to put it together as couples.  Meaning MIL and BIL on one check, and us on the other.  Nobody said anything different, and we got stuck with H's birthday dinner that SHE wanted to take him out to and pay for.  But she paid for BIL's dinner (he's 25, lives with her, and has a full-time job), and he ordered 3 beers and an appetizer. 

We are honestly not pissed about paying for H's dinner.  Whatever.  But BIL is such an ungrateful shit, and proceeded to complain the whole way home about how he was mad they didn't have his favorite $100 bottle of scotch.

Yes, we understand BIL just offered to be a donor for us, but we don't think we could ever take it because we're afraid of how he will treat us about it afterward.

I feel like an ungrateful bitch toward DH. He'll go out and get me whatever food I want. He went to the butcher shop yesterday. And then he went and did the grocery shopping when I asked him to. And yet, this morning, the kitchen trash is still stuffed to the brim and none of the recycling has been taken out (Monday is trash and recycling day). DH left around midnight to go salt for BIL because of the snow we got, and he didn't get home this morning until I was pulling away from the house to go to work, so I emptied the trash and lugged it and a box full of paper recycling down to the curb. It's his damn job!! Why can't he ever do it the night before like everyone else?!

(I spent all day sitting with my laptop doing freelance work, and then I did 3 loads of laundry afterward. I know I didn't get much done around the house this weekend, but this freelance assignment is only going to take me 3 weekends and get us $500+. Is it too much to ask that he pick up some shit while I'm bringing in extra money instead of sleep/sit on the computer playing games all weekend?)

Dh and I got in am argument last night. We argued past my bed time. So now I missed out on precious sleep!

Also, DS is mixing up his sleep schedule, so that's been hard to anticipate. Sometimes he is just a cranky kiddo. Plus I usually pump after he goes to bed (and do other things, like prep bottles for the next day). So I had to get up an extra time to pump.

I hope he figures out his new schedule and let's us know what he wants :-)

@LuckyAngel07 I am mad for you because I'm pretty sure your doctor and I both said you are not to be doing heavy lifting! 

DH is not allowed to rent movies anymore. He forgets to take them back and the bill is just out of hand right now. I am not too happy. 

I took a nap yesterday so I didn't get to sleep when I should have so now I'm just dragging. 

My dad just told me how much we're getting back for tax return. We're getting a nice amount, but its not as much as some of our friends that are well...dead beats as far as I'm concern. We can pay off all, but 1 bill. I'm debating about if we should pay part of that bill and enjoy some of the money. I know DH would be all for it, but I can't actually think of anything we would do with it. 

Also, I'm sad it's not the X amount DH and I agreed on. If it was that amount, DH was going to take me to Disney World for my birthday.

I officially hate my ILs. If I see them, I want to rip their hair out. DH is so angry, he is refusing to speak with them.

The backstory is extremely long, stemming from multiple occasions, but they all end in the same result - my MIL and SIL extremely dislike me, and we still can't figure out why. Well DH found out a few things regarding his newborn nephew (he was born 1/28 and he found out through Facebook on 2/1 about it - MIL and SIL simply did not mention anything to him - most likely this is revenge over another issue during Christmas) so he was tired of the crap and drama and told his mom that if she can't be an adult and deal with the fact that he married me, then she can consider him dead. This conversation between them two occurred on 2/2.

Well, on Friday, I was trying to finish our taxes so I needed something that he had in his email. I see something in his Drafts so I click on it. It's a craigslist ad for a booty call. His info and picture was in it. Now I'm furious and upset thinking he's cheating on me. I called him out on it - he had the email traced by a friend. His email was hacked. He had to think about who knew his password and email... other than me - his sister. The draft was never sent and the day the email was drafted was on 2/2. Coincidence? I think not.

I trust my H and I know he would never do something like this, especially since he works so damn much and trains so damn much. We are in contact all day long, and we had worked so hard to get our relationship the way it is today.

I just never thought that his family had that much hatred about our relationship that they would frame him to try to get us divorced. I fully believe in Karma - they will have their day, but not by me. I'm just going to sit back and watch.

I have no clue what I'm supposed to leave in place for my leave. Obviously instrument rental records but since our lessons are free-form and there's just a basic curriculum guide to follow, I have no clue WTF to leave.  I asked about it this morning and my department chairs are pretty clueless too...

@nightmare_of_beauty, I appreciate your anger on my behalf, lol, but it was really more of an annoying inconvenience than a danger. I carried medium cardboard box full of paper crap (mostly junk mail) and dragged the trash can behind me across the snow drifts (which was the part that really pissed me off). No real heavy lifting done!

@smbenevides1989, your ILs are seriously a piece of work. I will never understand why people are so vicious or vindictive and can't just be adults and talk to each other. I'm so sorry you guys have to deal with that shit, but I'm glad YH sticks up for you and put his foot down against his family.

I always have to nag DH to shovel snow. He hates doing it so he tries to do the bare minimum. I had to go out yesterday and shovel and then I had to wake him up from his nap so he could go finish what I couldn't get done. Granted he is sick right now and that is the reason he was napping.

I can't even hardly get out of the driveway in my little dodge neon and it drags the ground every time I back out onto the road from the built up snow and ice. I wish he would just do what needs done without my having to ask!

It took a long time for him to realize how crappy his family is. I'm just happy that he does stick up for me and tells them all to eff off. I'm also happy that he is a bigger man and doesn't go down that path. I swear both sides of his families are like this, some are better than others. It's all jealousy and it's ridiculous.

Mine is sad so beware!

My oldest nephew lives with his dad's, mom and dad. Well they have a little dog, Gismo. My sister was dropping off my nephew when my nephews grandpa got really upset with the dog because the dog moved. He proceeded to kick the dog in his balls. He did it over and over again. My sister and nephew told him to stop but he wouldn't.

My sister got home crying really bad which made us a cry. We called animal control and they said they would take care of it.

I feel like going to his house and kicking him in his balls, see how he likes it.

my mom. she didn't smile once at my shower yesterday. she was upset because I spent more time with my sister than her this weekend and accused me of using  her for a house to sleep at while in town. and her actions and words are a great reminder of why my sister and my mom don't talk anymore. sigh.it was all so sad and frustrating.

WTF?!?! I'm sorry, but there is NEVER any freaking excuse for kicking a dog even ONCE let alone repeatedly!! That man needs to straighten himself out pronto! I seriously hope animal control takes the dog, because no matter how much anyone else in that house loves the animal, it does NOT deserve to be treated like that. 

Also, I seriously judge anyone who gets a pet and then doesn't spay/neuter it. Do the effing responsible thing and fix/vaccinate/treat your pets!!!

(I am a long-time member of the Pets board, back from before everyone bailed to proboards and the Pets board ladies were looked at as psycho animal lovers by every other board community on TN, lol. )

We haven't gone public on FB yet, but we have sent announcements so people are finding out now (yay!). I hoped everyone would have the sense to realize that maybe we would like to be the ones to say something on FB first, but no such luck. This morning my aunt posted something (admittedly very sweet of her) congratulating us. She didn't say on what so if anyone did see maybe they didn't realize. I deleted it pretty quickly I think but I'm not sure how long it was up. It's a very small annoyance, and I'm not too bothered by it. We've waited this long to say anything, I just hoped nobody would spoil it for us... though I think we're still in the clear I did send her a PM thanking her though. It was very sweet of her.

Oh, and a slightly funny one. I had unfriended my cousin on FB about a year ago (she's one of those train wrecks on FB who always has some drama going on. Her life isn't a train wreck, just how she deals with things on FB. I think we all know someone like that!). Well, I knew when her mom must have gotten the announcement and passed along the news to her, because she added me back on FB on Saturday. She must've started doing some stalking and realized I wasn't on her friends list anymore. It made me chuckle, because she did the same thing with my sister  

Holy cow, two FB related things?? I swear I'm not on there much...

@LuckyAngel07 You would love my SIL. She didn't get her cat fixed until it had 3 litters and I found a place that would do it for free in my zip code. She just got a dog and he isn't fixed either. She found it funny when we brought Breezy over and he attempted to hump her. Yeah neither Breezy or I found it funny.

@bridget0117 I'm sorry that your in the same boat. I swear this type of crap always happens in my family. My mom and dad had to deal with the same thing when my paternal grandma caused some voo doo crap (I know it sounds far-fetched) to try to break them apart. But because my parents are strong, and I wasn't, I caught whatever crap she was conjuring and became extremely ill for years with no answers from multiple doctors. We still believe to this day it was her.

This always frustrates me.  It isn't funny that your animal is trying to DTD with mine. Either get them fixed or dont bring them around my fixed dog. 

FIL has a golden that isn't fixed, and he's always trying to get Sadie into a different room in our house because he knows he gets yelled at if he does it around us.  FIL thinks it's funny and lets him "keep his manhood" because they breed him occasionally and want to make money from selling AKC registered Golden Retreivers.  We've tried pointing out to him that he might as well get him fixed because he isn't a registered AKC breeder and his dog isn't released to be bread.

This makes me so sad and mad. It's for this reason that the genetic integrity of Goldens, and many breeds, has been destroyed over the last few decades. Over breeding with no concern for genetic issues is so incredibly irresponsible to the breed, the litters, and the potential owners who may end up with a puppy who is sick for life. There is a very good reason not all dogs are released for breeding, and that you have to go through a registration process to breed!

Our house is a disaster.  I have to learn a whole new product for my part time job and have to take an assessment on all of its components in 4 days.  We spent the entire weekend grocery shopping, going to a birthday party, and visiting family so it looks like a tornado went through the house.  It really isn't that big of a deal but it drives me nuts.

@GoodWolf, I seriously sometimes am so jealous of the relationship many of you have with your ILs. My ILs are so crazy it's not even funny. In a way I'm so glad we don't talk to them anymore but I know deep down DH sometimes misses them.

@smbenevides1989, my ILs believe in voo doo shit too, it's annoying. They have been telling everyone we know that mom and I have DH in a spell. They say that's the reason why DH loves my mom so much. Lol. Mom, DH and i just laughed so much, we don't believe in that stuff.
