soothing after shaving

I have dry winter skin and my legs are getting so irritated and cut up from shaving. What does everyone else do for this problem?

Re: soothing after shaving

  • Lush makes this lotion called "Dream Cream".  It is amazing!  I used to have problems all the time with dry skin and excema until I started using this.  I also know some people that swear by using straight coconut oil.
  • I think I'll give that a try, I've been using Nivea re-hydrating lotion but I still notice that my skin gets a little bit dry at the end of the day.
  • For me the biggest problem is that my skin seems to dry out massively immediately after shaving. I know that some of you are going to think this is crazy – but I have started to use coconut oil as a replacement right after shaving. This does an amazing job of making my skin look even better than before and I don’t have that same heated ache that I did before.
