Anyone else in Child Care ?

I'm a nanny for two boys, 2.5 and almost 4, so adorable ! Anyone else in child care with these age groups ? Could use some

advice in dealing with the 'terrible twos' and effective techniques in general in dealing with toddlers.

I'm not in the field, and I don't have kids, but I have a lot of nieces and nephews I am very close to. My sister and BIL have been reading "Parenting with love and logic" which was suggested by the school (oh yeah, that's a fun conversation to have with the school...lol). 

She has kids in their 20's as well as a 7 and 4 year old, so we've been through all this before...but she said this book is really helpful and she wishes she had it the first time around. That and super nanny. 

The 4,7, and 21 year old are all boys and none are "easy". Maybe you could check it out from the library and see what you think. Good luck!

  Thanks for the suggested reading, I definitely will check it out. I love educating myself on different methods/techniques of how to approach different issues regarding to child care, it's quite the learning experience.

123 Magic is referenced a lot on the parenting boards. Have you spoke with the parents to see how they want things handled? There should be some consistency.
