I miss Borders. There was one located right in the middle of our local mall. It was nice to end a shopping trip with a visit to Borders. There were two women in particular who were the most helpful people I've ever met in a book store. They seemed to know exactly what to recommend to people. During the store closing sale they were so sad. I miss them. And I miss the coupons!

I miss them too. When we moved into our house we had a Borders, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby literally within walking distance. It was my heaven. Now all that is left here is the Hobby Lobby.

Boy do I miss Borders. Despite living in a college town, we are severely lacking in book stores since Borders and HPB went out.

Me too. And what's worse is the last thing I bought at Borders wasn't even a book. It was a colander!

Ours was leveled. Just a big open space now. What if there was a book left in there by mistake?!?!?!?

I miss Borders. We had a practically brand new one, too. It had only been open for a couple of months in a brand new building. And nothing's lasted long in that space after - it's been a Filene's, a men's suit place, and the Halloween costume store. They just opened a microbrewery there so hopefully that will last!

I'm lucky and they replaced our Borders with a BAM, great people work there and they have coupons, you have to pay for the membership but it's worth it.
