tacky

I had a fb friend post on facebook, his wife's false alarm pregnancy and he was talking about how Thankful he was, don't buy him father's day gifts etc.. I found this extremely tacky and immature. I have hear of announcing pregnancy and i will when my time comes but a false alarm to me is crazy. Have you ever of anyone else posting a false alarm on fb?

Re: tacky

  • People just TMI on FB all the time! Seriously?! Is this guy in high school. I agree with you so immature and horrible!
"Anyone can be passionate, but it takes real lovers to be silly"
  • I don't think it's any worse than any of the other FB over-shares out there. It would get an eyeroll out of me, but not much more.
  • Reminds me of HIMYM when Barney created the holiday "Not a Father's Day".

But seriously FB disgusts me with teh amount of info people put out there (but clearly not enough to keep me away).

  • I agree that the comments could be viewed as immature and tacky. However, perhaps the gentleman is just very relieved not to have a baby on the way.

Some things are just too personal. My husband and I were over the moon when he has his vasectomy and even happier when we received the all clear to have unprotected sex. There is NO WAY we would have announced that on Facebook. Ew.

Maybe you should.  You'd probably get a lot of likes out of it. LOL
