WIJFR: Kiss of Fire by Rebecca Ethington

This was one I picked up this weekend on a whim because it was free on Nook.  I was quite entertained. It's sci fi/fantasy, maybe a touch of horror. The main characters are interesting but not complex.  My biggest complaint is that the main character is purposely 'left in the dark' about some things, and this means that we as the reader are as well. I'm halfway through the second book 'Eyes of Ember', and we still only understand half of what's going on.

In short, it's an entertaining, quick read, but you shouldn't expect a thought-provoking masterpiece.
