Do you go on vacations separately from your DH?

No.  We are inseparable.  In law school they called us "Chevan" (chad + evan...super clever, I know)

I guess it would depend.  If we were individually invited to an all guys/all girls trip, then we'd go and be fine with it.  But, we would never go on a trip without the other in any other situation I can think of.

I can't think of any reason I would.  I've only been on one real trip though, and that was a road trip with me mom in 2009.  My best friends and I had talked about going to Ireland but I wouldn't want to go without H.

I would for a girls trip with my best friends. I've met them in Vegas sans DH before. And technically I have and will go back home to visit family for weekends sometimes without him. I prefer to travel with him though!

We are inseparable too. I think it boggles some peoples minds how much time we spend together. That said, we never travel separately with the exception of work last year.

We're pretty inseparable when it comes to trips. The last couple "vacations" I have gone on were with him and his family.

No, the only time H goes anywhere without me is his man-cation where he snowboards for the weekend and acts like a turd with a big group of guys. I just see that as being equal to me going away for the weekend with the girls for a bachelorette party, not really a vacation.

We have. I've been to bachelorette parties weekends without him, and sometimes and mom, aunt and cousin do a girls weekend at the beach.

Yes...fairly often, actually. I'm going to Georgia in April to visit family and he's not coming with, and when I go to conventions with my friends (because I'm a world-class nerd, LOL) he rarely comes along. I just don't feel compelled to drag him along for things he's less interested in than I am, especially since he doesn't like to travel as much as I do.

Meanwhile, he's going to Virginia with his friend next month to compete in a Magic: The Gathering tournament, and no way in heck am I tagging along for that one!

I have. H isn't really a fan of travel. I went to Cuba with a girlfriend in 09. And I went to Hawaii last year for a school trip without H. We spend every day together, I don't see the problem with having some alone time either. He gets to sit around and play video games and I get to lay in the sun. win-win

I have before, yes. I last went to the Jersey Shore for a few days with my BFF.

I've gone away on a few weekends and overnights without him, but no where that he would want to go.  Last spring I went to my sorority's alumni weekend.  We went to the same college, but H has no desire to go back to the town.  I went over the summer to see New Kids on the Block in Atlantic City.  Once again, H has no desire to see them.

I don't think I'd be comfortable going for like a week somewhere without him or him doing that without me.  I don't like the weekends away either though.

I wouldn't go on an extended vacation without him unless it was with my family and he couldn't take the time off from work. I would go for a weekend or something without him. I'll go visit friends for a weekend who don't live in town. We have discussed me going with one of our mutual friends out to Vegas with his family this summer. We've also discussed H possibly flying out for a while if I do go. (They're driving and renting a huge house with lots of room, H wouldn't be able to go for almost 2 weeks).

I would go on a weekend trip with my BFFs but that's about it.  If I'm going to go somewhere awesome, I want to share it with him.
