The Archived / The Unbound *NS*

I finally got around to reading The Archived a few weeks ago and was completely sucked in early on. Before I even finished reading it I preordered The Unbound and finally had a chance to finish it last night.

I LOVED THEM BOTH SO MUCH!

I think I saw on Twitter that there's not a third book planned but the way she leaves it DOES leave it open enough that you want to know "well, what's next for them?" but it also gives you that closure that you need with a final book. TBH, I waited so long to read The Archived because, while I liked The Near Witch and her writing in that, I was a bit bored reading it. I'm SO happy that it was just a fluke for me because I really like Victoria Schwab and regardless of how I felt about her books I was still going to buy them all.

Has anyone read her other book, Vicious, yet?

I read on Twitter that the author wants to write a third book, but the publisher won't go for it. This made me take notice, because the series seems to have done really well.

I loved The Archived, haven't gotten my hands on The Unbound yet.

I'm so glad you said that because I felt the same way about the Near Witch.  I remember thinking that she was the kind of writer that could be one of my favorites a few books down the road though.

I've got The Archived in my queue to read soon.

I won The Archived from her on Twitter a month or so ago, I just haven't actually read it yet. Glad to hear they were both great!

@jen748 and @j*p* you two will LOVE it! I'm glad I wasn't the only one that was just "meh" over TNW.

@taylormillgirl I also find the whole thing pretty interesting. I haven't seen too much talk about it but I'm really surprised they aren't on board.
