If you have any changes to this list, wish to be removed, added, or have graduated (yay!), please shoot me a PM.

FYI: We don't want to exclude some ladies, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having trouble trying to conceive (TTTC=3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption or have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

Updates: Ok ladies... where are we at this week? Testing, Procedures, Appointments, Adoption updates, Life updates? What’s going on, etc. Let's hear all about it!

Re: 3T Check In

  • Good luck, Looney!

Updates: Nothing really going on in my ute. As usual. In other news, I became an aunt for the first time last night so I'm consumed with a whirlwind of weird emotions. Complete excitement and sorrow all at once. How is that possible?!  I am hoping to leave work soon so I can go meet the nephew.

QOTW:  What was the best concert you've ever been to? (Can you tell I'm running out of question ideas lol) Uhh... I have no idea.. I've been to a lot of fun ones

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules): I am totally using my new nephew as an excuse to leave early

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • Not pregnant. I bled for like 2 minutes on Sunday and then it stopped. Still no effing AF. I hate my body.

We aren't sure what is next or when it'll be. We will not rush to any decisions.

My WTF appt with the RE is on Monday. I do want to hear what he would recommend if we were to try again, but if we did do IVF again, I would switch clinics. I'm still going to see him, but only to find out his thoughts. I'm also going to get an opinion from another doctor at the other clinic. I just want to stash away the info. I am 30, so we have time to make decisions.

I'm also seeing an adoption lawyer. I met with an adoption counselor a few weeks/months ago, but didn't feel like I got much info. An attorney is probably a better route. I should probably start visiting the adoption board on TB. I don't even know where/how to start.

  • @looneylife Good luck!

Updates: Nothing really.  Hoping to get more information this weekend from my dietitian about going 100% gluten free, then starting that along with the PCOS diet.

QOTW: Close tie between BSB and Rascal Flatts.

FFC/AW: We paid off 7.5 of H's and I's student loans on Monday.  It feels so good knowing we're almost 1/4 the way through our debt.

  • @looneylife - good luck!

Update: see other post. Trying to be positive but realistic. Our other embryo didn't freeze, so we'd be back to square one if this doesn't take.

  • @looneylife – Everything crossed for you this upcoming cycle! So exciting!

@rockabye – Congrats on becoming an aunt! I’m sure it is a whirlwind of emotions, but your nephew is a lucky little boy!

@iloveredvino – ((hugs)) I hope AF shows her face so you can move on.

@brij2006 – Congrats on paying off a bunch of loans!

@poppies717 – I can’t say enough how hard I still have everything crossed for you!

    Me -

Updates: Just waiting for AF. RE said to call him if I didn't have AF in 2 weeks when last we spoke. Two weeks was yesterday but since I started spotting I haven't called. Would you, or would you just wait it out?

QOTW: Probably 311 this past year. I had such a blast! But really I've never been to a concert I hated.

  • @amandaf6383 - Lots of luck with T25! You are going to rock it! Also - YAY 311!!!! I'll think about testing in the morning if no AF. I'm off tomorrow since DH is having two teeth pulled and needs me to get him there at back. So, I know a negative (even though expected) will upset me but at least I'll be home most of the day with DH.

  • Do I go here now? I don't know where I belong. :-/

I have an appointment on 3/31 to start testing.

QOTW- I haven't been to too many concerts. My sister and I go to our local JingleFest concert every December and it always has great up and coming artists.
  • @LooneyLife- so excited for you and wishing you tons of luck!

@RockABye- congrats on being an aunt! I can't imagine the myriad of emotions you're feeling, but I know you will be amazing and spoil him rotten.

@iloveredvino- thinking of you and sending lots of hugs.

@poppies717- staying hopeful and sending positive vibes your way.

@seahorse01- I thought the same thing earlier today :(

Nothing exciting here. In another 2ww. Mr and I decided we will move forward with IVF in the summer, but will try one more IUI while we are waiting- what the hell. Positive news is that Merck gave me a free follistim pen and catridge since the last one was defective.

Hmmm, I've been to lots of fun concerts, but I think the best overall vibe was Jimmy Buffett.

Update:  One month left of pills to hopefully treat the hyperplasia.  The last two months have went by fast so maybe the next month will too.

QOTW:  It was a Matchbox Twenty concert where Sugar Ray and Maroon Five opened up for them...it was so much fun!  Another really great one was Three Doors Down and Staind.

FFC:  I just ate a half of pizza for dinner.  I've only went to the gym once this week.  I know I will have gained weight tomorrow when I weight in but I don't even care.  I needed a week away from the diet/exercise lifestyle.

  • @Xan921 thanks :) i feel like we have been on a similar timeline, for the most part. I really hope you get good news next month and can start moving forward yourself. I think seeing just how much the odds are stacked against us without treatment makes the process less emotional and more just a part of our process. I have wished so hard for so many of you ladies watching you go through medicated Cycles, etc... I thought I would be equally emotionally invested in this- but instead it feels like just another day in the office.
