I read a few of her non-fiction books & they kind of turned me off to her...

Has anybody read this book?  Is it similar (voice, style, etc...) to her non-fiction books?

  • I haven't read it yet but I've read everything else she's published.  I prefer her memoirs to her fiction, but I enjoy the fiction, too.  It's pretty fluffy but with snarky characters.

  • I love her memoirs and her fiction ones have been "eh" for me but this one by far was the worst one IMO.  I gave it 2*s and that was being generous...

    my read shelf:
Elizabeth's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • Bummer.  I'm a little ways in and the protagonist is pretty sanctimonious.  Her fiction almost feels like she took things that really happened, changed names but still made it obvious, and added snark.
