What's your favorite classic?

I know everyone LOVES To Kill a Mockingbird but other than that, what's your favorite classic novel?

I'm trying to get to some classics this year as well as suggest some for my book club.

  • Pride and Prejudice is my all-time favorite.

I also love The Count of Monte Cristo, and Jane Eyre and The Woman in White.

Not sure if they can be called "classics" since they're not very widely read, but I love Louisa May Alcott's thrillers, too.  She has a couple of short story compilations and a novel, A Long and Fatal Love Chase - so awesome.
