Water Bill

How much do you pay for your water bill? Is there anything else included in it?

Our water bill also has trash pick up and 1 other thing included in it. They just went up and our bill has tripled. I feel like our bill is normal for everywhere else and that H and I used to pay a VERY cheap bill. Just curious how it compares to you ladies.

Re: Water Bill

  • Ours is just the water and last month it was $38.   Our electric on the other hand is astronomical.   We paid $463 last month.

  • @kushie77 WHAT!?!?! OMG!

We pay like nothing for water, I think the highest was like 50 because H was doing a lot of wash. I since curved that and we are back down to around 30.

Electric I am on a budget and pay 133 a month, last year we paid 145 a month but got like 300 back. So Im nervous we may owe again. Hopefully, they get it on target.

  • We rent so we don't have a water bill.

@kushie77 we have electric heat so our bill is right up there with yours!

  • @kushie77 OMG that is horrible! Our electric bill isn't even that high during the summer. I think the most we have paid for electric is $200. Our water bill used to be $13 and now it's over $30.
  • Our power (electrical) and water is on one bill, it was about $150 last month. I've been taking more baths and we've been running the dishwasher a lot. It's definitely more water and less power. Out natural gas bill though was through the roof because it's been so cold and our heat is naturally gas. It was $200 I think and that's really high even for here and I turn the thermostat down overnight and during the day when were gone. That's what 2 weeks of -40 will do.

  • Water and sewage combined we pay $30/month. Our electric bill varies because sometimes they do actual readings and other times its an estimate. On average we pay $60 though. We do budget billing for natural gas and pay $90/month all year which might seem silly to pay that much in the summer but it beats having a $300 bill during the winter!

  • We haven't gotten electric or gas bills for the new house yet and I'm sweating bullets just reading this thread!!

We did get our water bill though and it was about $30 for a month.

  • We just bought the house and they made a mistake on the transfer so we haven't received a water/sewer bill yet... yuck. I am nervous.
