  • Oh geez...
Ok, I was really into fantasy as a teenager.  Still am, but really into it when I was younger.
My favorite was a really cheesy series called The Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn.
I can reread them over and over and they still entertain me as much as they did 16 years ago.
I usually pick them up again after a long reading lull, and they are falling apart.

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
    "I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

  • I also need to know the answer to this question because I am struggling trying to read anything right now.  I keep thinking about rereading The Bronze Horseman, so maybe I will try that.

  • If we're talking general...

    Anna and the French Kiss
    Where She Went

When I'm in a slump, I like to read books that are quick and light.  I know that Where She Went isn't that light, but you get what I mean.

    An old favorite:
    I am the Messenger
    Daughter of Smoke and Bone
    The Raven Cycle books
    Name of the Wind
    HP

Or I pick something kind of random I downloaded to my Kindle and haven't heard much about in any of my reading circles. I've had good luck lately with a few of these, namely Indexing by Seanan Maguire (aka Mira Grant of the Newsflesh trilogy) and Irregular Creatures by Chuck Wendig. Both were fun and surprising.

  • I reread an old favorite.  Dragonsong, or The Fire Rose, or maybe The Hobbit.

When I am sick and can't concentrate, I reread Little House in the Big Woods

  • Harry Potter, or if I'm not feeling a series, any Nora Roberts book. I've reread some of hers that were my favorite when I was in a funk and it helped a lot.
    image
  • I think it would depend on who asked me.  If it were you asking, I'd say the Mistborn series.

I did a Bronze Horseman re-read at the end of last year to get out of a funk.  I found myself skimming until I got to the second half though.

I've re-read it a couple of times and every time I end up highlighting more in my nook.   I probably have more highlighted than not.  I can't seem to make myself re-read The Summer Garden though, I would probably skim most of that one if I ended up trying to read the entire series again.
