WIROV: Into The Still Blue, Throne of Glass, and Breaking Night (NS)
What I Read On Vacation:
Into The Still Blue: I enjoyed this book, and I enjoyed the series. I read the entire book in one sitting at the pool, and it kept my interest. I
Roar. The world was original, different from any other books I've read. I do like YA Sci-fi, and this fit the bill perfectly.
Throne of Glass: I picked this up at the airport bookstore when our plane was delayed, and had no idea what to expect. I ended up liking it. I have two beefs with it - The heroine is SO VAIN. She's like a Bratz doll turned assassin. The world was not fleshed out nearly enough. You get the information you need to understand the plot, but that's about it. All that being said, I still was interested enough to want to find out what happens. And I really loved some of the secondary characters enough that I could ignore my minor annoyances with the main character. I will pick up the next book in the series.
Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival, and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard: I am only about 52% into this book, but so far, it's a great read. At times it isn't easy to read, as the author watched her parents slide farther and farther into their drug addiction from a very early age. (By five, she could easily explain exactly how to mainline cocaine. I am excited to finish this one.

Throne of Glass: The main character is very arrogant in book 1, but she gets better throughout the series. I'm anxiously waiting for the next book.
