Re: QOTD 3/13

  • Patterned leggings for women since there as so few women that can pull them off and those that are trying to pull them off shouldn't be.

And skinny baggy jeans for men.

  • Ewww baggy man jeans!!!  I didn't realize that was a trend.

I heard overalls are coming back in style but I don't think any person over age 12 should wear them!
AND I hate seeing people wearing Uggs and shorts...what the heck?! Are you cold or hot?

  • I wish that the slim cut trend for men wouldn't be the only option in stores. H is a bigger guy and cannot wear slim cut, but that's all the stores carry. If we do find things for him that are "regular" cut, they're like old man pants. I understand that there's skinny guys out there who benefit from the slim cut, but the average guy doesn't look like that. t feel terrible every time we go shopping for him.

I second all of the above!

  • All of the above are bad.  Also I noticed belly shirts are coming back... no thank you!
  • Everything above!  The 80's should stay in the 80's!!!

  • I feel out of the fashion loop. I had no idea most of this stuff was trending.

My husband is the same!  He has gained some wight and a lot of muscle in the last year so none of his regular clothes fit anymore but it's nearly impossible to find "regular" cut clothes.

  • I agree with the above, but also as someone who carries a lot of weight in my midsection, I'm so over peplums and would like to stop having to avoid them.

  • High waist-ed anything.  They don't flatter ANYONE.  It makes it look like your uterus is jutting out, even if it's not.  That is not the look.

I actually love peplums because they hide my lower pooch that I have!  I guess like with everything else, some fit good and some don't.  I have a black peplum shirt that is super pretty because it has a lace back on the upper half and the bottom hemline is just a little asymmetrical, so it's not the typical peplum.

  • I hate the patterned leggings (especially just really freaking weird ones...leopard print, I don't like, but at least they doesn't look like a rainbow got diarrhea). Not a fan of peplum shirts either.

I agree!  I also feel like they make everyone who wears them look like they have camel toe.
  • I actually love peplum and high waisted bottoms!!

  • Ok, so I am not a fan of overalls, but these are actually really cute!  Probably because she has a great body and can wear anything...  I also like the romper, but I don't like it on Khloe.  Opinions?

I actually love those overalls. They are super cute, but I could never pull them off! I also love rompers but haven't been able to pull those off either. Still wear mine every now and then anyway!

    Edited bc autocorrect got me!

  • So, I ordered the overalls.  It's ok if you judge me!  I got them in black though and I'm pretty sure the ones she's wearing were altered to be a little shorter and skinnier in the legs, so I'll probably do the same if they fit well and I keep them.  We'll see...

I don't think anyone should totally avoid wearing a certain style if they like it.  I said this before, but if you find the right fit in something, then it will be flattering on you.  I've tried on several rompers; some work and some don't.  A lot of my friends always tell me they wish they could wear rompers or jumsuits but then I find out they've never even tried one on.  So, don't be afraid to try things because I'm sure you'll be happy when you find something that works for you.

  • I wanna see how it looks when you get it! :)  I think being petite will help you pull this off.

  • Yeah, I think so too.  Sometimes there are advantages to being a shorty!
