My cws and I are huge nerds and will be wearing matching t-shirts for pi day tomorrow (3.15). I made them with the left over transfers from the thing 1,2,3 shirts. They say "come to the nerd side, we have pi". I can't wait!

I have Friday and Monday off.  I really should be busting my butt to get everything done, but I have a terrible case of "I don't give a crapitis."

I called in "sick" today! I haven't taken a day off all year, even after going right back to work with a 6 week old. I've been at work sleep deprived, with the sniffles, spit up on, etc and I deserve a me day. LO is at daycare. Granted I've been cleaning the house but I feel i will be less stressed to get things done this weekend and have more family time. H tried to give me crap about it until I started with the I don't have time to myself anymore bt work, daycare drop offs, MOTN wake ups /feedings etc, he eventually shut up bc he knows I do 95% of the day to day household and baby duties.

Follow up on one of my previous confessions...

I made that appointment with my new primary care doc. I met her at the pot luck that H and I went to last weekend (she works at the other office in town than the one H works at), she seemed very laid back and friendly. I couldn't get a new patient appointment until the end of April so now I have over a month to stress about whether she'll send me for the dreaded blood work : /

I made plans on a whim. And now my childhood best friend that I haven't seen since the wedding is coming to visit after I get off work. I am dreading this already.

I have accomplished next to nothing all week at work. I have zero feelings of guilt about it. Today, while working from home, I have done 3 loads of laundry, packed my suitcase and carry on bag for my trip, gone to the library and filled, run and unloaded the dishwasher.

I've been feeling really unhappy and just blah lately.  I think it'smostly boredom because I'm home all day alone, but also sadness and frustration that I can't find a job.  I don't want to tell H because I don't want to burden him unnecessarily.

I also confess that I am way to excited for St. Patty's day.  DH and I go to the local parade every year and jump in it like we are part of it.  It's tradition.  We also try to out-do each other for who can look more ridiculous.

Us two years ago:

I'm a little scared because he got a kilt this year.  I think this is going to be the year he looks more ridiculous than me.

To go along with Seipel's confession - H and I totally though St. Patty's day was this past Tuesday for some reason and we both wore green.  Luckily we were so busy at work, we didn't even think to call anyone else out for not wearing green or we would have looked really stupid!

I also confess that I'm getting a little obsessed with cake design.  I've been watching a TON of youtube tutorials for different techniques and I want to try them all!!

I confess that I may have gotten overly angry at DH for warming up the car on a 40 degree morning for about 3 minutes because in my opinion at the time it was a waste of gas. We may have argued about this all the way to work.
