s/o how many: Watership Down?

Anyone read it?  What did you think?  Is it worth reading?

I remember when I was really into the show Lost, I used to want to read it (because every single thing in that goddamn show was there for a reason, wasn't it?!), but then I never did.  Whenever I see it now, I always consider picking it up, but somehow always find something that I know I want to read more.  I don't even know what it's about.  Should I just give in and read it?

  • Wait, I am obsessed with LOST, should I be reading this book??

Is it the book that Sawyer reads repeatedly?

I started listening to it and it didn't really hold my attention.  I do have a copy that I think I'd like to read with Wes some day.

    Yes.

Based on these responses about it being a pretty quick and easy read, I think I'll pick it up.  Thanks!  It's been so long since Lost ended that I will probably not see any connection at all, but at least I'll be able to check off another on on that list!
  • I read it a long time ago (in high school I think) and I loved it. I've been looking for a nice hardcover copy to get so I can do a re-read.

  • I'm still traumatized from the animated TV miniseries that aired in the mid-late 70's.  There were parts that were scary and horrible and I avoided reading it for most of my life until a couple years ago when I used it for one of the seasonal challenges, as book published the year I was born.  I listened to it, and I LOVED it.  I still never want to see the animation ever again, and I'm still freaked out by some of it, but I overall I loved it.
