When you met your H was it love at first sight?

Nope.

We spent a few hours hanging out at a Halloween party. I didn't know anyone (all my friend had left, but I had a few drinks and wanted to make sure I was good to drive) when he and his friends showed up. I thought it would be fun to be goofy with these people I would never see again.

Hours later I realized I wouldn't mind seeing him again, but then he left without asking for my number.

Even after our first date I was pretty sure it wasn't going anywhere.

For some reason, I went on date #2- and that's where I knew I couldn't have been more wrong.

H and I met playing a video game online and he swears he fell in love the first time he heard my voice. I was weirded out by this guy who was suddenly attached to my virtual hip. We became really good friends and then things changed. I can't be sure exactly when things changed for us but I just knew that something was different with him. When I met him face to face, I knew I wanted to spend my life with him.

Haha nope! I had just decided I didn't want a boyfriend. Probably in the same week H walked into my dorm room to visit one of my roommates and my first thought was "I could sleep with him." 

I think I knew we would end up in a relationship the first weekend we met and we stayed up talking all night.

For me it was. I had heard so much about him and he had heard lots about me from my roommate now SIL and when I heard he was coming over I was on high alert. He walked in and I pretty much fell in love. After everyone left or fell asleep and we stayed up talking till 6 am I knew I was in love but never thought it would go anywhere. He says now looking back it was all right there for him to see but he was so guarded at the time.

Yes, we met at a local bar through mutual friends. They randomly ran into him and at first I was like why are we sitting here talking to this joker, i just want a girls night, by the end of the night I told my friends, well I just met the man I am going to marry.

I"m not sure it was love at first sight... but maybe fourth? Lol 

We met online, eHarmony. He lived 2.5 hours away, we emailed back and forth for about a month, made a couple phone calls, and then he came to visit. Had a great first date. Saw him for three consecutive weekends, then I went to Europe for a month. They day i left for Europe, it was pouring rain, and he works construction so he had the day off. He drove the 2.5 hours to my City, to spend the morning with me, and have lunch with my mom, dad and I and see me off to the airport. After my parents and him dropped me off at the airport, he proceeded to spend the afternoon running around town with my dad, after only having met him really twice. When I got on the plane to leave, I pretty much knew that it was going to go somewhere, and was fairly certain I was in love with him.

Nope, in fact I was packed and ready to move to Maryland when I met H.  He'll tell you I gave him a good run for the money and he chased me hard.  LOL, the first time he told me he loved me I said Thanks.   But I had gone through a pretty bad breakup a few months before we met and I think I was just really gun shy.  In fact when we first moved in together I refused to get rid of anything from my apartment as I was convinced that it wasn't going to work and I was still going to Maryland.

H & I met online eharmony we talked online text & on phone b4 we met in person. So I would say no it wasn't love at first sight cuz first sight was over cam. I had to make sure he wasn't a creeper befit we met face to face. Maybe a couple dates after I knew it was love

No. Not at all. I thought he was cute but he was the most arrogant sob I had ever met. It took us years to finally get together.

Nope..I was dealing with a bad breakup in my own life and a ton of drama in my social circle..I had no time for boys....It took him a while to win me over...the first time he told me he loved me I told him that he was just emotional and would get over it....

I don't really believe in love at first sight but maybe because I've never experienced it. H and I met in high school through a friend that car pooled us both home. I was such a flurry in high school and H was so nerdy that I had a blast flirting with him and making him feel uncomfortable. At first it didn't mean anything and to this day he says he hated me for messing with him like that. But we went on a date for fun and we both changed our minds about each other. It still took a few dates before we took each other seriously anyway :-)
