Weekend Update

It was the last weekend of my spring break.  We drove up to my mom's on Saturday, and then Sunday I worked a job with DH.  It was really interesting actually seeing what he does (IT).  He is a very patient man.

I finally finished the third Bridget Jones book. I was mostly not a fan, but I was happy with the ending. I had been reading it so long that I had to check it out from the library three separate times.

I also read most of the Mercy Street series by Mariah Stewart, which I am enjoying. 

And I went and saw Muppets Most Wanted with my parents. I know some people have said they didn't like it, but I thought it was cute!

Saturday we went to the outlet so I could get coming home outfits for our baby due July 4th. We don't know the sex so had to get both girls and boys. We also looked at some new cars since we have to start thinking about getting a new car since we'll have two kids. Then we went to lunch and relaxed for the rest of the day.

Sunday I went to a bridal shower.

I did finish Just One Day. I am still waiting for the Goldfinch from the library so not sure what I'll read until I get it.

I dealt with a cranky, sick baby all weekend.  Boo.  I did finish Serpents in the Garden by Anna Belfrage.

I didn't do much. Stayed around the house for the most part.
All my late nights lately ffound me reading Bella Andre books. I am 3 books in and loving these smokin hot romances!

I did finish Moonlight Masquerade by Ruth Axtell and The Road to Grace and A Step of Faith by Richard Paul Evans.  You can read a lot when you can't sleep.

Went to happy hour then saw Divergent w/ friends at the 21+ theater where they deliver beer to you at your seat. Love.

Ran errands w/ MH. Got a bunch of stuff for the house and a new top/bracelets for me.

Visited w/ my ILs and my little niece.

Napped like a boss.

DH and I bought a ton of new workout clothes and running shoes. We're going to try to get fit together. I'm pretty excited.

I worked.  On Saturday I dealt with pervy old redneck racecar fans, and on Sunday it was just the usual suspects.  Read a little, that's about it.
