Easter Ideas?

I had no problems filling L's Christmas stocking this year, but I'm really struggling with things for his Easter basket.  I am getting him some yogurt bites (his favorite), a few pairs of socks, and a book, but I can't think of anything else that is cute.

Have you started thinking about Easter baskets?  What are your thoughts on things for your LO?

Re: Easter Ideas?

  • Chalk. Colored bath tabs. A straw cup similar to mine but smaller. A bath towel made by seitz (when I order it). Probably a book. I bought plastic eggs to put things in it. We never got gifts for Easter-just candy. So I feel like even this is overboard. When he's old enough for candy that will be what he gets. Not gifts.

  • Yeah, we used to only get candy and a few small things as well.  I don't want to go overboard either but want a few cute things to put in there.  I really like the idea of chalk...he would love drawing on our sidewalk in the summer.   :)

  • Besides what's already mentioned, bubbles are always a hit since the weather will be getting nicer. Also maybe a little Easter stuffed animal (bunny, rabbit, chick).

  • All I have so far is a sticker easter book. I amthinking about getting some crayons and a coloring book. A cute little stuffed animal is a good idea but she already has SO many iI will probably try to avoid that. She will get some peeps because she wants them so bad.

I will just go in the Easter aisle in the store and pick out some stuff.

  • Love the bubbles idea and the sticker idea!  I will probably encourage him to place the stickers on himself for a cute Easter picture.  :)

  • One of my favorite pics of Delilah is this one when she put stickers all over her face and then had this very serious look.  It cracks me up.
