Re: 3/26/14: five days of freebies- day three!

  • Definitely yard work!  Also, a new bedspread.
  • We are looking to FINALLY get our own place! Once we do the first thing we do will get rid of the hand-me downs & buy our own living room set
  • decluttering my current one in preparation to move in with my fiance in June :D
  • I will be buying some planters to have my orchids inside the house! I also plan on making an art/photo gallery wall, can't wait!
  • My husband and I are moving, so yard sale and downsizing!
  • Planting a garden out back and adding new paint (and hopefully new color) to the bedroom
  • I would love a break box yum yum yum my favorite indulgence.
  • We are building a deck and finishing our basement!  We'll also do some landscaping outside if the snow ever melts!  Can't wait!

  • Adding a patio and garden to our backyard!
  • We have some old clothes sitting in the apartment that need to get donated, some items in storage that could use a little organizational love. We are also looking for some decor to spruce the place up... Lamps for the living room and some kind of art for over the couch, etc. Nothing too exciting but I'm also finishing up grad school so there isn't much time for anything else haha.
  • Redoing our kitchen and picking some bright cabinets!
  • We built our home last year meaning we have no yard! So we will be using a skid loader to tear up our entire yard and remove about 5 inches of soil (well it's really sand). Then we have to replace that so we will be bringing in black dirt, you know, something grass will actually grow in. Then begins the long process of growing grass... At the same time I shall be putting in our landscaping which includes Hydrangea bushes, some other yet-to-be identified flowers, and some unbelievably adorable yard ornaments. Also the deck and front porch furniture that was purchased last year, that was never allowed to see the sun, will be put out for some much needed relaxation time. It's gonna be a long but very exciting time of year!
  • Deep cleaning the house and painting the baby's room.
  • Finally sprucing up the bare backyard with a flower garden.
  • Painting the outside of the house and landscaping the backyard!!!
  • New lampshades, tablecloths, and a nice fake orchid.
  • We're planning on fencing in the yard. I've started my plants that I'll transplant into the garden when it gets warm out. It's so nice to see sprouting greens!

  • I live in an apartment currently, but will be getting married in the fall!  So, spring will be full of plans for our new home as we will finally live together in October! : )
  • Yay for spring & cleaning!
  • I am eager to make some changes to my home by adding some bright colors!  Teal or red to accent my neutral colors both indoor and outdoor living spaces.   :)
  • Going to paint some rooms to give it more color!
  • We are making our apartment balcony a better area for relaxing on and being a place to be during the spring and summer. We are looking for a small table some some chairs to put on it, and some nice outdoor lights to brighten it up. We are trying to create a nice outdoor space to hang out on.
