My sister called me telling me that my dad was crying saying that I don't love him. How can I? He picked another person over us!! I fell asleep crying and dh tried making me feel better but he had no luck. Ugh sorry for the vent.

DD has been crawling a little bit. She's also clapping a lot and we're teaching her how to blow kisses.

Best part of your week? Oh I don't know, lots of good things.
Worst part of your week? Yesterday wasn't awesome. DH decided to start working out Saturday and overdid it so he wasn't super helpful. Lucy yelled at me for 20 or so minutes in the grocery store and wouldn't accept a delicious cookie from the lady in the bakery trying to make her happy. It was just stressful, not terrible.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We went to Target on Sat and returned a few items from the shower and used some gift cards. We got our baby monitor (which we got a $40 gift card back from!), the kick and play piano, some swaddle blankets, and a few other items I can't remember at the moment!
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I have a dr appt Wed morning and then an u/s on Friday to check position/size.

How are you feeling? My tailbone really hurt yesterday but it's feeling better today. I'm waiting to see how the marathon musical rehearsals the next two weeks make me feel. I am exhausted just thinking about it!
What are you craving? Nothing at the moment
What is grossing you out? Nothing except our cats throwing up at least once a week
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Everything that I have ordered has came in so far. Some things have been purchased from my registry too!
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? 3D u/s is April 10! Next appointment is April 14 then we start every two weeks appts!

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? I washed the crib bedding and got the valances and diaper stacker up. We still have to get decorations up but we won't have time to do that for two more weeks!
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I have a question. Did anyone out there have any restrictions as you got deeper into third tri? I'm not talking bed rest specifically but things like no bending, kneeling, squatting, getting on your hands and knees, etc? I'm just curious what I could be in for!

For Mommies-to-be: How many weeks are you? 25w 4d
When is your EDD? July 10
How are you feeling? Tired! This baby already wakes me up about every 2 hours at night. Other than that I feel pretty great.
What are you craving? Blueberry muffins with peanut butter (no idea where that came from and haven't tried it yet) and spinach and artichoke dip. DH made some for me this weekend and it was delicious!
What is grossing you out? My step son has a horrible cough and doesn't always remember to cover his mouth. He's been using my throw blanket for the past few days and I don't mind but I refuse to use it til he feels better and it's been washed.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? The bartender we love at one of our favorite local restaurants couldn't resist buying these adorable shoes for her LO even though she didn't know the gender yet. Turns out she's having a boy, so she gave us the shoes. They're too cute and totally my style!

How are you feeling? Good! I've been going to bed before 10pm pretty consistently, but during the day I've been feeling really good.
What are you craving? Nothing specific.. everything sounds good!
What is grossing you out? I haven't been a big fan of Mexican lately, but I think it's mostly because it's spicy.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? No. I had a full cart online shopping at Target, but closed it out before I bought anything. Trying to control my urges!
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Second Level 2 u/s on Thursday to check baby's heart again. The first round they thought they saw calcium deposits (which isn't any concern since other bloodwork and testing was fine). I'd rather see the specialist to be on the safe side. Plus, how could I turn down another chance to see baby!
Have you / will you found out the sex? I caved to the temptation and we did!! It's a BOY. DH and I are the only ones that know.. it's our little secret until August :-$
Any names picked out? Right now we're between Johnathan Emanuel or Aiden John and leaning more towards Aiden. Boys names have been tough for us to agree on.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? It's empty!! My dad came yesterday and painted it for us. He's a really great painter and it came out sooo good! Then he helped DH rip out the old carpet. Flooring will be purchased in the next two weeks so DH can install them during spring break. Making progress!!!

LO's age-2 years old...although if you ask her she says three.
Best part of week-Ava Nichol turning 2 on Thursday. At Red Robin we had them sing to her. So they brought her a sundae and put it down in front of her. She lit up and started glowing and then teared up she was SO happy!
Worst part of week-DH and I disagreeing on a parenting topic. I think there is no reason to just let her cry and throw a fit and we should redirect her to something before it happens. He thinks that it is okay for her to be unhappy and we are teaching her to throw a fit to get something better even though in my way we avoid the fit all together.
Milestones-Uhm turning two! She also finally went up a shoe size and is talking up a storm. She just learned what behind is. Oh and she is remembering things from weeks and months ago now.

When is your EDD? April 5th......this Saturday!!!
How are you feeling? Pretty decent. My lower back has been bothering me these past several days to where it hurts to walk. But other than that, I'm doing alright.
What are you craving? Nothing.
What is grossing you out? Nothing.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We bought stuff for Little Man's first Easter basket.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Had my weekly this morning! No real change. She said I'm 1.5cm...so yeah. No real progress. But that's OK. She gave me the protocol from here on out. I made an appt for next Monday (40w2d). She said we'll probably do an NST that day to make sure everything's good. If I hit 41w, they'll send me for an u/s to make sure LO looks good and fluid levels are good. If I hit 41w3d, we'll start talking induction between then and 41w5d. Baby will be out by 42w. Whoa!

How are you feeling? So done. I'm an emotional wreck - crying at the drop of a hat and I don't know why. I've been having contractions that get timeable and then disappear. I'm so jealous of all the women around me having their babies, both on boards and IRL.
What are you craving? Comfort foods. Pizza, mac and cheese, etc.
What is grossing you out? Nothing.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I treated myself to a 6-9 month shopping spree on Carter's clearance and doorbuster deals. Such cute clothes.

Best part of your week? We were sitting in the steam because of Colin's bronchiolitis. He was crying and I go, "Colin, there's no crying here. Do you know you make my whole life worth it?" And he stopped crying and gave me the hugest smile. Then, I started crying lol
Worst part of your week? Obviously Colin being sick was horrible. However, DH and I have contracted food poisoning/the plague in the past 24 hours. Everything is coming up and out. Ugh. Gross.
Milestones? Few things: Colin definitely turns to look for us now when he hears our voices. He also has discovered that the water isn't so bad and lightly taps the water when we take a bath. Last, he is starting to deliberately reach for specific things.
