Do you think you're a good driver? What does DH think about your driving?

I think I'm an OK driver. I don't like to drive unless it is long distances, like driving to Michigan. H gets carsick so he drives everywhere. The only way I drive is if he is asleep.

I think I'm a pretty good driver, but I can have my bad moments.  I think H would say the same thing.

I think I'm a good driver with bad luck. I've been hit by 3 deers (and believe me when I say they hit me, I was either not moving or going 10 mph). And have had 2 accidents, one in snow and one where the guy ran a red light.

Because of all that I drive like a granny... But I'm ok with that.

I know I am an agressive driver...but generally safe.

I'll share a story from yesterday:

I had my husband's work truck (he owns his own bussiness, the truck has his phone number on it), he had our car yesterday. I was getting on the highway and the person in front of me was going 26mph - not safe. So I cut over quickly and sped up (to a shocking 50 on the highway!)  while mr. 26mph almost got rear ended by a mac truck. My husband got a phone call about "erratic driving" in his work truck....not fun!!! I got a lecture about safely driving with baby etc.

Note: I live in MA... so the fact that I did not tailgate, then cut off, then slow down while flipping him off shows how restrained I was...

I'm an ok driver, but I really hate driving. I'm overly cautious when I drive so I'm not very assertive. That was fine in Upstate NY, but there's a lot more traffic in MD.

I'm a pretty good driver, not Nascar or anything.  DH only thinks I'm a bad driver when I'm hungry.  I apparently drive like a maniac when I'm hungry.

Hate driving on the interstate/highway, LOVE driving on country roads.  It's a big stress reliever for me.  I'd say I'm pretty good.

DH has that east coast driver thing going on...pretty aggressive and generous with his hand gestures!

I know I'm not a great driver. It took me until I was 26 to get my license, so I've only been driving for 3 years. So I'm inexperienced and not at all aggressive, but generally safe, I think? And H is the one who taught me how to drive, so he'd better not have any complaints!

i think im a good driver, H doesnt think so, but he thinks he is mr perfect yet he has been in more accidents than I have and has hit more deer than i have, not that you can predict when a deer is going to jump out and hit you, but he thinks he is invisible behind the wheel

H usually drives everywhere bc he doesnt like the way i drive, thats ok, it gives me a reason to nap=)

I'm a pretty good driver. I used to not be, but have improved a lot over the last couple years.

I'm usually a quick driver on the interstates, but I'd say I'm pretty good. H complains when I brake sometimes, but I don't get anywhere near the bumper of the car in front of me when I stop, unlike him. I think he'd say I'm usually good, but I have my bad moments. lol.

I'm not the best. But I've definitely seen worse drivers on the road. I must have a depth perception issue. I feel like I'm right next to a car and I wind up having a canyon of space between vehicles. I have also had the experience of being hit by a parked car.

DH is by far a better driver, so I usually let him have at it when we go anywhere. (I'd hope he's good at it--he gets paid to drive at work) He's another one of those types who gets nauseous if he's passenger. If I'm driving, he's usually conked out or distracting himself.

I think I'm a great driver. I admit I drive some what aggressively but I learned how to drive while fighting all the traffic on Long Island :-). My H would say I'm not a great driver at all.

I'm pretty good because I've never hit anyone or been pulled over.  H thinks I get too close to cars on the high way, but he hates driving on them so he naps while I drive.  However, I am excellent at parking and he is always impressed at that.

  And my mom still grabs the "oh crap" bar on the rare occasion she lets me drive her anywhere.

I don't have a license nor have I ever attempted to drive or take lessons. I think I can safely say that if I were to get behind the wheel right now, I would be a terrible driver! Lol
