we went to a really fancy restaurant that we normally wouldn't splurge on and then to my parents for birthday cake b/c we got married on my moms birthday.

We have booked a week trip to Washington DC this fall for our anniversary. My husband hasn't been and I have family up there I haven't seen in years so it will be a nice reunion/get away since we didn't get a honeymoon!

We just celebrating our first in May.  We've booked a night's hotel in our lake region and are going to the hotel's fancy restaurant.  I'm really excited.  Our plan is to say our vows to each other again each year on our anniversary privately and we're hoping to do it this year in the front of the lake.

We went to a wedding.  I guess we chose a very popular weekend to get married.  :-)

We spent a long weekend in Burlington Vermont, checked out some breweries, then drove up to Montreal for one of the days.

The literal day of our one year anniversary, we did not really too much of anything. I think we just wound up eating our year old cake and just enjoying a day in.

The day before our anniversary, however, we roadtripped with a bunch of our friends and went to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. It was a ton of fun getting dressed up in costumes, eating tons of food, seeing some shows and just enjoying the beautiful day together.

I have no idea how we will spend it! We will probably go do some kind of activity around the area we live in. What did you guys do for an anniversary gift? It's paper (traditional gift) and I keep trying to think of things that are paper, but every idea I keep getting isn't paper!

We had a gift card for a super fancy restaurant so we got all dressed up and had a fancy anniversary dinner for free!

We took a picnic and our new puppy to a local park that was having an outdoor concert

We took a caribbean cruise for our first anniversary last year (May). This year we will probably have a couples massage, order some cupcakes from the place we had our wedding cake/cupcakes made, and then go up to the golf course where we got married and have lunch and then H will hit some golf balls.

@ashleyjesse1112 I keep thinking like what can be printed out onto paper or something. 

My husband listens to Pandora on his commute to work and at work so I might get him a year of commercial free Pandora and Print it and hang it on his steering wheel. 

Then again, I might not haha. I've got 5 months to procrastinate the gift part lol.
