RE...finally

I finally pulled the trigger and scheduled an appointment to see an RE.  His next available appointment was 5/12.  I'm a little frustrated that it is still a month away, but I guess that it is better to have one than not at all.  I've already printed out the huge packet of information they sent me.   I also need to get all of the paperwork from my OB/GYN.  Even a year and a half of trying, I still cannot believe that we are here, but hopefully this next part of the journey is short and we can finally get answers.

  • It was so relieving to go to that first RE appointment.  Because, it finally meant I was working with someone that is in the business of getting women pregnant as a primary focus...not a secondary focus like working with an OB/Gyn.

I totally get what you mean.  I think I'm just frustrated with myself for not doing this earlier and instead following what my doctor wanted which ended up being an unmonitored Clomid cycle.  I am ready to move forward with someone who knows what they are doing and were able to give our friends their child.
