Rainbow Rowell hugged me.

I met her at a book festival on Saturday.

She knew who I was from Twitter.

We laughed and took a pic together and she signed my three books.

I told her that I wished Fangirl was the book that defined the New Adult genre because it certainly did/does for me.

Then she said, "I feel like I should hug you. I'm going to give you a hug."

Then she hugged me. And I died.

The end.

I picture Rainbow Rowell going home that night and telling her husband/roommate/whoever "You know that awesome girl I keep telling you about from Twitter?  She came to see me and hugged me!" and her person being like "I bet that made your life!" and Rainbow Rowell is like "It did.  This is even better than when I got that movie deal."
