NOTD - your turn

I don't like the top options today, so I decided to do NOTD differently today! There is a list of the most popular names today, numbered 1 - 1,000.  So the first person to give me 3 numbers between 1 and 1000 wins (wins? ha). Anyway, I'll give y'all the names that correspond with those numbers.

Aaaaaand... GO.

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

  • I really like Cora (I think we already had this one). Love Oliver, but that's my cat's name so I only think of kitties. Astrid reminds me of The Office. I love the name Peter and it's meaning, but I wouldn't use it for various reasons. Cerelia - meh. Amory = mammary.... NO.

  • Cora: Cute but NMS

Oliver:  Our close friends named their boy this and call him Ollie.  So we wouldn't take it.

    Astrid: No thanks.

    Peter:  Too blah for me.

Ceriella:  Sounds like it would be on a Disney movie.

Amory:  I actually like it, but wouldn't name my child it.

  • Cora - Still nope.
Astrid - All I can picture is the girl from White Oleander and all the crap she did and went through. So nope.
Cerelia - I like this one! And it's different enough to be rare in my area.

Oliver - I think of the cartoon. Plus, a friend of mine named her son this, so nope.
    Peter - NMS.
Amory - NMS (although if it was Emory, I'd totally be a yes, which is what I thought it was when I first saw the list...reading comprehension fail).

  • Cora: Knew someone with that name and didn't like them

Oliver:  It is our #1 boy name

    Astrid: Nope

Peter:  The whole reason I commented on this. My Step-ILs named their son Peter Parker. Seriously, after spiderman. She is currently pregnant with another boy they are naming Benjamin Reilly. For those that don't know, that is the name of Peter Parker's clone.

    Ceriella:  Not a fan

Amory: It's ok, not my favorite.

I like Cora and Oliver. Astrid sound stop harsh to me. Peter is boring. Cerelia is like cereal gone wrong. My phone even auto corrected to cereal. I don't like Amory. Reminds me of Amorous.

I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.
  • Cora - Really like it

    Oliver - Really like it

    Astrid - Yuck!

Peter - Good name, but doesn't jump out at me.

Cerelia - Kind of pretty, but NMS.

Amory - I like Emery, not Amory. I like Emery more for a girl though.
